Campus Safety & Emergency Communication
Campus Safety ensures the safety of faculty, staff and students on Kettering's campus. The University has a team of full-time Safety Officers that are available to assist faculty, staff and students 24/7.
Campus Safety Service Center
Kettering utilizes a state-of-the-art video surveillance system with over 180 security cameras around campus. These cameras provide officers visibility and coverage of the campus as well as parts of the surrounding community. In addition to the video surveillance system, the University has 15 blue light emergency phones located in parking areas and near several buildings. These phones provide instant communication 24/7 to an on-duty officer at the Campus Safety office.
The officers patrol campus parking lots, property and buildings, along with other locations such as Atwood Stadium, that are frequented by our students, staff and faculty members.
The Campus Safety Service Center is located in the Great Court of the Campus Center. The Service Center can be contacted at (810) 762-9501.
Campus Safety Shuttle/Escort Service
Campus Safety provides students and employees safety escort/shuttle services 24/7. The Campus Safety escort/shuttle provides services to parking lots, nearby off-campus housing, medical treatments and important off-campus appointments. To use this service, call (810) 762-9501.
